Brown is an independent, coeducational Ivy League institution comprising undergraduate and graduate programs.Founded in 1764. Located at Providence, Rhode Island.
The main campus, comprising 235 buildings and 143 acres (0.58 km2), is on College Hill in Providence's East Side.

Brown offers a number of a graduate studies through its Graduate School, which offers well-regarded programs in English and history, and the highly ranked Warren Alpert Medical School.

Brown’s vibrant, diverse community consists of about 6,200 undergraduates, 2,000 graduate students, 490 medical school students, more than 5,000 summer, visiting, and online students, and over 700 faculty members. Brown students come from all 50 states and more than 115 countries.

Admission:

When applying to Brown University, it's important to note the application deadline is January 1, and the early decision deadline is November 1. Scores for either the ACT or SAT test are due February 1. The application fee at Brown University is $75. It is most selective, with an acceptance rate of 8.7 percent.
